A Little History
I have always had a fascination with cooking, baking, and all things kitchen-related. I’m sure part of this stems from the fact that I grew up with a chef as a father, but I think it goes deeper than that.
In my family, cooking from scratch has always just been the way we do things. Sure, there’s the occasional pizza ordered out or restaurant food, but I’d say that on average, about 80% of what was consumed in the house has always been homemade. It’s just how we do things. It’s how I was raised.

When I was old enough, I inherited a HUGE box of family & friends recipes that goes back generations on both sides of my family. Over the years, I’ve found so many hidden treasures in these recipes, and now I have a way of ensuring that they are passed down to future generations–just as they were intended! Since I’m also well-aware of how super-busy today’s world is, I also share how to meal plan, budget, and tips/tricks to use the the time you have in the kitchen efficiently, so that you do not become a “slave to the kitchen.” Lord knows, you have enough things on your plate… I’m just here to help you savor every ounce of this crazy life!
