Guinness Beer Bread
Why buy a box of "dump & go" beer bread mix, when making something this delicious is so easy?
Servings: 8 servings
- 3 cups flour
- 1.5 Tbsp baking powder
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 12 ounces Guinness stout or any beer you like
- 1/4 cup butter melted
Preheat oven to 350F. Spray the interior of your Deep Covered Baker (or loaf pan) lightly with cooking spray.
Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and brown sugar until no lumps remain. Stir in beer and melted butter.
Spread batter in your prepared Deep Covered Baker. Cover, and bake for about one hour, or until a tester comes out clean.
Serve warm or room temperature with butter.
